Dr. Sanger, I trust you know that I hold you in the highest of regard and I hope you understand why it was important to mention you in my overview of Coba's life and work... and although Coba does not hesitate to combine work and personal, I felt it best to not mention the rift between Mycinea and Eustace given that even our most esteemed colleagues fall prey to gossip and innuendo. I welcome your comments regarding their relationship and would certainly enjoy hearing about your work with Coba. | |||

It is a bit alarming, but I suppose not altogether shocking that my name should come up in this article on my dear friend Mycinea. E is one of the most delightful essenes I have had the pleasure of working with, and I am always happy to discuss eir work (and our work together), though perhaps my personal connection shades my otherwise objective judgement. It is with some displeasure, however, that I note Eustace Jenkins makes an appearance in the article as well. I am sure most of my colleagues here know of the deep rift that came between Eustace and Mycinea, and Myc eirself desires no connection with Eustace at all. I'm afraid I will now have to keep our research here a secret from my friend until we can clear up some of the most common misperceptions about their relationship.
