Dr Lamprey-Pond, I had thought that your name seemed familiar! While writing my first entry for this great work of ours, I stumbled upon the name of Pleasance Lamprey-Pond, known to most as "Slugger". Are you by any chance a relation of hers, or is it mere coincidence?

Ah, Great-Aunt Slugger! How I treasure the memory of her fisticuffswomynship. Why, it was common knowledge that she would have retained that regional Golden Gloves trophy for an unprecedented 13th year if those wankers hadn't invited her to keynote in Purley. Paid off by Blomquist, I'm sure -- so typical of the Swedish Mafia. They couldn't pound an IKEA peg correctly, let alone a woman the size of a small grizzly bear.
