Alt Melis Fragment #1553: Exsanguination Kittens

Accordingly, there is insufficient evidence to reach a solid conclusion on the question of which faction created the Exsanguination Kittens, although clearly it cannot be either the Alies or any of their allies, as the things were clearly designed to prey upon those machines.

The designers cannot have been overly competent or possessed of even rudimentary Temporogenetic capabilities, as they not only are not capable of eliminating enough of the murder spiders to have ever made the slightest difference, their huge metabolic needs combined with their inability to digest non-metallic solids led them to adopt the blood-sucking lifestyle for which they were named, spending far less time attacking robots than they do stalking and preying upon bands of Feral Roadies as are found in the wake of B* and other bands.
